First Flush Green Tea - Tea Bag


  • First Flush Green Tea is a smooth and pleasant tea.  It has a light yet vibrant note with a subtle hint of citrus giving it a uniquely fresh taste.

    Shan Valley teas are grown in the rolling and remote hills of Myanmar (Burma), where they are hand-picked by local farmers and selected for quality. 

    First flush teas are harvested in March or April.  They are the first harvest of the year and are considered our most premium pick of the season.


    2 teabags - $1.50

  • Preparation
    Green tea - Teabags
    Steep the teabag in a 10 oz cup of just under boiling (170-185F)  water for 3 to 4 minutes.
    If desired, Shan Valley pyramid teabags can be re-steeped for a second cup. Enjoy. 
    Green tea - Loose Leaf
    Steep 1 teaspoonful of loose leaf tea in a 10 oz cup of just under boiling (170-185F)  water for 3 to 4 minutes.
    If desired, Shan Valley loose leaf can be re-steeped for a second cup.  Enjoy.

    Black Tea - Teabags
    Steep the teabag in a 10 oz cup of just under boiling (170-185F)  water for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with milk and sugar as desired.
    Shan Valley loose leaf can also be re-steeped for a second cup.  Enjoy. 
     
    Black Tea - Loose Leaf
